ARRAN Sense of Scotland
Inspired by nature, proudly made in Scotland.
For over three decades, ARRAN Sense of Scotland’s vibrant and evocative fragrance collections are inspired by and proudly made on the Isle of Arran.
From tranquil glens to fresh spring water from the rugged hills which surround their island home, ARRAN Sense of Scotland’s purpose is to help the world connect with nature. This is a very special partnership for Alzheimer Scotland – as we are their chosen charity of the year for 2021 and we’ve seen first-hand the transformative effect that nature can have for people living with dementia.
Ingles Buchan produce traditionally crafted tartan products hand crafted here in Scotland. They worked with Alzheimer Scotland to help us design and create our own tartan range which has been popular for the past few years with our supporters.
In 1986, Ingles Buchan retired and the company was passed into the trusted hands of the Brown family, who own and operate Ingles Buchan today. Subsequently, when the mill owner Anthony Haines retired, to keep the thread of this incredible textile history together, the Brown family bought the mill in Selkirk and continue to exclusively weave their 600 tartan fabrics here to this day.

Handmade in the Hebrides
Emma Macleod lives on the beautiful Isle of Lewis and owns Handmade in the Hebrides. Her business started as a hobby on her bedroom floor. With views over the Atlantic from every window, and having the most beautiful beaches on her doorstep, she became inspired by the handsome ruggedness that is costal Scotland to produce natural soy wax candles and melts, and to use genuine Harris Tweed to create bespoke items of jewellery and other accessories.
